Project Overview
We were contracted to install a brand new drainage system on a newly constructed, large-footprint home in Karns. The builder required a high-capacity system that would match the home’s modern dark bronze trim perfectly while handling the massive water runoff from the steep-pitch roof.
Knowing the surface area of the roof, we immediately recognized that standard 5-inch gutters would be overwhelmed during heavy spring storms, risking the home’s brand-new landscaping.
- The Problem
The massive roof surface area required a gutter system capable of managing extreme volumes of water fast. Standard sectional gutters would look cheap and eventually leak at the seams.
- Our Solution
We brought our heavy-duty extruding machine on-site and roll-formed continuous lengths of 6-inch high-capacity seamless aluminum gutters. The 6-inch upgrade handles nearly double the water volume. We matched the exact ‘Dark Bronze’ factory enamel to the home’s trim and secured them firmly into the rafter tails.
